At 16 years old, my first job was at a local flower shop where I became obsessed with the beauty of flowers. At the same time I was mentored by an artist in her design studio where she taught me the fine art of brush strokes and composition. And now a combination of flowers and art! What could be better?

Growing up in the Appalachian Mountains in Western Maryland, nature and art became a major influence. As a child, I spent most of my time drawing and coloring. In college I studied Fine Art for years, then went on to pursue an education in Interior Design in Pittsburgh. Currently I am living in a suburb of Houston bringing the scenery of my life with me into my art.
